Established since March 2020, Berry Legal Consultancy Service is a specialist family law firm in Croydon founded by Charlene Berry, a qualified UK solicitor.
Charlene has spent much of her life practicing family law and child protection and has seen and worked with families from every angle.
She began her career in private practice working with clients in respect of divorce proceedings, separation, contact agreements, parental responsibility orders and special guardianship orders.
Building on this foundation, she has since developed her skills and knowledge as a child protection lawyer within several London Local Authorities and has gained substantial, invaluable experience in this area. Furthermore, she obtained a master’s degree at King’s College London in Child Studies and understands a great deal more about the field of family law and child protection from an academic perspective.
Throughout her professional career, Charlene has represented parents with Child Arrangement Orders, applicants and respondents in divorce and financial proceedings and worked with Local Authorities representing social workers in care proceedings. In addition to this, she has also been a proud foster carer. This substantial experience ensures Charlene can fully empathise with your situation; with a 360-degree holistic view of family matters she can truly understand your issue.
Charlene Berry sits as a Children’s Panel Member, which is accredited by The Law Society. This means that Charlene is deemed an expert in care proceedings.

After completing her LLB Law degree at the University of Wolverhampton in 2015 just about NOTHING could stop her from progressing further and completing her LPC and LLM in 2016 and qualifying as a solicitor in 2019.
She is a Well-regarded solicitor in the Wolverhampton and surrounding areas and has built a wealth of client rapport.
She is described as fierce and sharp in her presence but will go the extra mile to ensure client care and client satisfaction is achieved no matter the circumstances.
Nicola has over 7 years’ experience representing clients within private law family matters, domestic violence, care proceedings , and public law matters on behalf of local authorities.
Aside of her commitment and dedication to her career and clients, she is the driving force within her home, her family Is her everything and she continues to strive to ensure her two young sons become the best version of themselves.

Gurveet is an experienced Consultant Solicitor specialising in Family Law. Gurveet qualified as a solicitor in June 2021 and have always been passionate about assisting clients across the United Kingdom in navigating various aspects of Family and Children Law proceedings as well as Domestic Abuse Proceedings.
With a background as a supervising solicitor and a strong focus on client care, Gurveet brings a wealth of experience and skills in representing both Applicants and Respondents in Domestic Abuse and Children Act Proceedings. Gurveet’s expertise also includes handling applications for Non-Molestation Orders, Occupation Orders, Forced Marriage Protection Orders, Child Arrangements Orders, Specific Issues Order, Prohibited Steps Orders and more, with a proven track record of securing positive outcomes for her clients.
Gurveet holds a Family Law Advanced Panel Membership, reflecting her high level of knowledge, experience and proficiency in dealing with complex cases in the field. Gurveet is fluent in Punjabi and is able to communicate effectively with clients who speak Hindi and Urdu, ensuring clear and supportive interactions throughout the legal process.
